My name is Tanja Read and I have been designing and sewing doll clothes since I was a little girl. I learned to sew on my grandma’s old treadle sewing machine under the watchful eyes of my mom, who is a professional tailor.
My passion for sewing for dolls never went away and when my daughter got an American Girl™ doll for Christmas, I dusted off my sewing machine and started designing doll clothes again. My other passion is crafting which I combine with my engineering background to create doll-sized everyday items like a climbing wall, catamaran, dog sled or beach chair.
